SkinPen micro-needling stimulates collagen production, reduces fine lines, and improves skin texture. This FDA-approved treatment is minimally invasive, and it's ideal for clients looking to address acne scars, ageing skin with laxity in face, neck, chest, under eye lines, minimise enlarged pores and ageing prevention and general skin maintenance.
This is not suitable if you are prone to keloid scarring (fleshy scars raised on skin), active cancer in treatment area(s), open wounds, sores or irritated skin in area(s), allergy to stainless steel or topical anaesthetic, haemorrhage (bleeding) disorder, or hemostatic (bleeding) dysfunction, are pregnant or nursing, and currently taking medications that contain isotretinoin (such as Accutane).
It may not be suitable in some cases of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH) however do book a consultation for further advice.
Before a chemical peel, first and foremost ensure that you wear SPF 50+ daily, or all the hard work will be undone.Secondly avoid exfoliating treatments, AHA/BHA/PHA, vitamin A/retinoids, acids and actives at least 7 days prior to treatment. This is to avoid increased sensitivity and reduce risk of side effects.
Avoid laser removal / electrolysis / waxing / hair removal treatment at least 2 weeks before and after chemical peels.

Yes, we recommend avoiding direct sun exposure (and use SPF), refraining from applying makeup and above noted skincare products for at least 24-48 hours. There will be specific aftercare instructions provided on the day for each procedure, to ensure best results
